The contest “Už darnią plėtrą” ("For sustainable development") referred to as the Oscars of real estate development announced the leisure dwelling quarter in Neringa “Marių vėtrungės” developed by INREAL group as the best real estate object in “Ateities projektai” ("Future projects") category.
“Marių vėtrungės” is a unique project in the Curonian spit in terms of its size: it is an example of harmonious and sustainable real estate development. We are working in the field, the product of which will be assessed by multiple generations, therefore the most important thing here is to find proper solutions for humans, nature and history, without harming any of these components. We believe that the things that we have created and continue to create in Neringa (our “Vėtrungės” projects) will decorate the Curonian spit for decades and will increase the value of this unique place in Lithuania. “For us, the possibility to develop such projects, make our activity very interesting and fun”, said the Head of INREAL group Gediminas Pruskus.
The contest has been organised for 14 years by the Lithuanian Real Estate Development Association (LREDA) and the Sustainable Development Academy.
We are happy because of quality challenges of developers and their successful implementation. All we have to do is to believe that these tendencies will accelerate in the context of sustainable real estate development. “The majority of participants are very serious projects that shown breakthrough and resistance to business environment challenges in 2020/2021”, said the Head of LREDA and the Chairman of commission of the contest “Už darnią plėtrą” Mindaugas Statulevičius.
The participants of the contest were evaluated by the commission consisting of 9 members including representatives from the Architects Association of Lithuania, the Lithuanian Builders Association, banks, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, the Ministry of Environment, Vilnius City Municipality, the Lithuanian Real Estate Development Association and media.
