Atrandi Biosciences headquarters

Atrandi Biosciences Headquarters, located on Savanorių Avenue in Vilnius, is the adaptive reuse of a former industrial building, transformed into a state-of-the-art facility for biotechnology, scientific research, and technology development. The project consolidates laboratories, research spaces, and technology development functions under one roof, creating an integrated workplace that encourages collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange.

Developed within the former furniture factory complex, the project preserves the character of the existing industrial structure while giving it a new purpose. The original structural frame has been retained, allowing the building’s industrial identity to coexist with a contemporary, people-focused working environment.

The architectural concept is rooted in the principles of adaptive reuse, maximizing the potential of the existing structure to create flexible, efficient, and long-lasting spaces. Beyond the building itself, the project contributes to the ongoing regeneration of Vilnius’ former industrial districts, demonstrating how existing urban fabric can be successfully repurposed to support high-value industries while enriching the city’s built environment.
